autotransformer single-phase for voltage change, reversible, intended for voltage change. They are indicated when it is necessary to adapt the voltage from 230 to 400v / 400 to 230Vac, in an economical way, without galvanic separation. Its usual field of application is used in small machinery and automatisms.

Manufactured with low loss magnetic sheet and copper wire windings, providing high performance.

Question
Hola, tengo varias dudas sobre los autotrafos monofásicos. ¿Cuál es la potencia consumida por un autotrafo cuando no hay carga en el secundario? Si el primario esta protegido por un interruptor diferencial, ¿debe el secundario protegerse con otro diferencial adicional? ¿podrían enviarme algún esquema en el que se vea como conectar primario / secundario y carga? Muchas gracias de antemano.

El dato del consumo en vacio de un transformador no nos lo proporciona el fabricante,  así mismo, recomienda la utilización a la salida de un elemnto de corte que esté en función de la intensida máxima que puede soportar para que en el caso de sobrecarga, este elemtno lo detencte y corte. Hay esquema de conexión en las características de los transformadores. El fabricante recomienda sobredimensionar un 20 % sobre la carga máxima a la que tenga que ser sometido.
