HIWIN precision ball runner blocks, square in shape and size 15, enable high positioning accuracy with very low rolling resistance. Manufactured with four raceways arranged at 45° angles, they can handle loads from any direction. Their very high load capacity and long service life allow for high-precision movements without producing vibration effects (stick-slip). Their low coefficient of friction allows for high travel speeds.
They are supplied with a grease nipple for easy maintenance. They only require minimal lubrication. They are supplied with a sealing system consisting of front and bottom seals to prevent the entry of foreign substances, such as dust particles, chips, or any other element, into the ball bearings.
They can be installed in any position, and are fixed using threaded holes on the body of the skate.
HIWIN size 15 square skates are available with C precision and Z0 preload, or H precision and ZA preload.
HG series recommended for: Grinding machines, milling and drilling machines, lathes, machining centers, wood
Preload Z0: Light preload 0 – 0.02 Cdyn. Constant load direction, low vibration, lower precision required.
ZA Preload: Average preload 0.05 – 0.07 Cdyn. High precision required.
