La fuerza que un cilindro puede ejercer depende de la presión del aire que se suministre, para un cilindro de Ø25 las fuerza teorica máxima serian:

Presión de 5 K/cm2: Empuje 24,5 Kg - Tracción 20,6 Kg.

Presión de 6 K/cm2: Empuje 29,5 Kg - Tracción 24,7 Kg.

Presión de 7 K/cm2: Empuje 34,4 Kg - Tracción 28,9 Kg.

Como prodrá ver, no parece mucho para la utilidad que se le quiere dar, pero esto es decisión suya. 

Para calcular la fuerza que cualquier cilindro, la formula es sencilla:

 F (Kg) = Superficie del cilindro (cm2)* Presión (Kg/cm2)  (Para empuje)
