Electric differential switch self-resettable, 40A 30 mA, category "A", 4-pole, for protection of persons against insulation/diversion problems in electrical installations or elements. Specifically recommended for use in homes.

The automatic resetting system will allow a reconnection in case of an untimely tripping of the same, not produced by a permanent shunt current. The self-resetting differential will automatically reconnect through successive time sequences, controlling the insulation conditions, so that it will not reconnect until the fault that caused the trip has disappeared. In this way, maximum safety and continuity of electrical service is maintained, avoiding unnecessary reconnection attempts.

This system is very useful in homes with sporadic use or where the loss of electrical service can cause losses in food, security systems, sewage treatment systems, etc.

Applications: this equipment is specially designed to be installed in all installations where a full guarantee of continuity of service is needed in case of unforeseen situations that cause the tripping of the differentials for reasons other than electrical insulation.

  • Service sector: air conditioning systems, cold rooms, lighting, SAIS, .......
  • Industrial sector: control of critical production processes.

By means of a front switch we can override the automatic reclosing system.

This type of differential is electromagnetic operation, which allows not to lose the safety function in case of supply voltage variations or loss of the neutral conductor; only with the shunt in the active phase the differential is tripped.
